We think that sustainability doesn’t need his own page on brand websites. It needs to be that common that it doesn’t need any explanation. But since it’s not, here we are.
“So, sustainability. A word that is thrown around a lot within the fashion industry, but how sustainable is ‘sustainable’? For us, ‘sustainability’ means producing in a way that doesn’t harm the earth or the people living on it. We live by sustainable standards, including organic cotton, testing for harmful substances, and fair wages for employees.
Note: Not all of our products are made of organic cotton yet, but we’re shifting to all organic cotton in the near future.”
If you see this logo in the care label, it means that the clothes you are wearing are made of organic cotton .
At the end of 2018, we decided to change our productions from the use of conventional cotton to organic cotton.
The organic cotton is certified. LETIS is the organization behind these certificates.
We have chosen to change all our current styles to organic cotton, therefore there may be a transitional period where the products have some sizes and colors in organic cotton and other sizes and colors in conventional cotton . Therefore, we have chosen to label the organic products with cotton flower, so that we can easily see the difference between the different products.
Most of the products you see are Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex certified test no. 19.HBD.82728 HOHENSTEIN HITTI.
In short, Oeko-Tex is a product brand with the nickname “Trust in Textiles” which ensures that all components of a product are tested for harmful substances.
